A Call to Action!

Now more than ever your voice is power and your power is needed. The November 2020 election represents a turning point where we can decide to reroute the path we are currently on. The system is not our side, it never has been but voting is one of our most powerful tools to help force the system to change, to make it work for us. Both political parties have been culpable in this but currently the Republican party is the main driving force for the system by deteriorating our rights, emboldening racists and racism, spreading division and false narratives, blocking helpful reform in numerous areas of policies including Healthcare, Education, and Criminal Justice, as well as giving a slow and bare bones response and aid to the Covid-19 pandemic. This wave of Let’s Vote It Up is recommending you to vote blue to every seat on the ballot to help push to the balance of power to those who can begin the long work of changing the system to one that will work for us all. The Democratic party is not perfect so it is also recommended that you look into the candidates running and pick those that most align to your vision of our community, city, state and country. There has been a rise of many candidates at every level since 2016 who are diverse and earnestly seek to do good. Vote because the future is up to you.
